Submissions
Submission periods vary based on the project. All submissions are accepted on Duosoma. As much as we hate it, depending on the project there may be a small submission fee. We nominate for Pushcart and pieces from the Winter Anthology are considered for Best of the Net nominations. Please reach out with any questions and thank you for trusting us with your work.

The Lost Blonde Minis | Temporarily Closed
DUE TO OVERWHELMING RESPONSE MINIS SUBS ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED AND WILL REOPEN EARLY 2026.
Have a brilliant mini poem or micro-flash? Submit to the Lost Blonde Mini. Selected pieces will be delivered by mail to our subscribers on a beautiful postcard. All pieces will also be considered for the semi-annual Lost Blonde Zine. Submissions are free. Contributors will receive copies of the issue in which their work appears. Because of the small space they occupy, Minis will need to be 32 characters or fewer per line (including spaces) and 15 lines or fewer (including stanza breaks).

Lost Blonde Chapbook Contest | NOW OPEN
We want to publish your chapbook in 2026! Send us your collection of 15-30 poems for consideration. Winners will receive a $250 honorarium, 10 contributor copies, a featured local or virtual (depending on location) reading, and distribution of the completed book. Reading fee is $15. The submission period opens 15 October 25. Submissions capped to the first 75 entries. Longlist announced 15 May 26, and the winner announced shortly after. The winning chapbook is scheduled for publication November 2026.

Summer Print Anthology | Opening 15 Jan 26
2026 Theme: Sustainability.
This print journal is scheduled to be published in July and welcomes poetry and short stories under 5,000 words. Send us your pieces that relate to sustainability and whatever that means to you. Maybe you're thinking about the environment, maybe you're thinking about yourself, your job, your kids, the love of your life, or that person that gets under your skin and sticks there. If it's written well, we would be honored to consider it. Contributors receive 5 copies of the anthology in which their work appears and will be featured in the contributor section of our website. The anthology submission fee is $5.00.

2027 Theme - Renewal
This online journal is scheduled to be published in January 2027 and welcomes visual art, poetry, and short stories under 5,000 words. Send us your pieces that relate to renewal and whatever that means to you. We love an environmental poem. A stunning photograph. A self-reflective story. A piece that considers the state of the world around is. If it's written well, we would be honored to consider it. Contributors receive a PDF copy of the anthology in which their work appears and will be featured in the contributor section of our website. The online anthology submission fee is $3.00.
